I think it is safe to say you do not have charts that show a before and after flywheel install. The charts do not show a *shift* in power, but actually show the whole power band has improved. Your car was tuned to be safe for your mods with crappy 91 pump fuel. I looked at your charts again after getting some sleep and I also remembered more about your car as well. I do not know how you were controlling boost in the first chart, but I can see they did capture the boost at 4074 RPM and they are showing boost at 4074 of 13.76 PSI. If you look at your new chart the boost at that same RPM is only 11.54 PSI. 2 PSI in this area is a fairly significant difference in power. With California pump fuel and stock intercoolers, we set you boost to a conservative level. A couple more things to note..... When you came in you had a boost controller installed with the factory boost solenoids still hooked up. This was causing a boost spike and we disconnected the stock solenoids as they should be. I recall telling you about this when you picked up your car. The last thing is that a laggy car can feel more dramatic when the power comes on vs. a car with a smooth power band that does not hit as hard can feel less dramatic. Make no mistake; the smooth power band is faster and more controllable. This is where the Butt dyno can fool you. More power at less boost = GOOD
